In March, the large section mill of SeAH Besteel carried out a joint fire drill with the Gunsan Fire Station. The exercise was based on an emergency scenario involving a fire in an electrical room, and focused on checking response capabilities to secure the “golden time” from the moment the fire is detected to the handover to the fire department.

The drill covered step-by-step actions based on real situations, including quick communication of the situation, accurate emergency reporting, organized evacuation, and effective initial fire suppression. Through this exercise, SeAH Besteel reviewed its on-site response system and strengthened its ability to work closely with relevant agencies.

On March 19, the volunteer team of SeAH Coated Metal carried out an environmental cleanup activity along the waterfront road in Haepal Village, Miseong-dong, together with the Gunsan Social Welfare Center. This activity was organized in response to residents’ reports of waste that had been left unattended for a long time. The team focused on collecting illegally dumped trash and cleaning up the area.

In some sections, repeated illegal dumping was found to be linked to parked cargo trucks. The team shared these issues with relevant authorities through on-site inspections and discussed possible solutions together. The activity not only helped improve the local environment, but also provided an opportunity to communicate with residents and explore ways to manage the area in a more sustainable way.

On March 17, SeAH CSS held its 60th anniversary ceremony at the auditorium of its office building. During the event, awards were presented to outstanding customers, suppliers, partners, and exemplary employees. A commemorative video reflecting on the past 60 years was also shown, followed by a celebratory performance by Petra Singers. In the afternoon, a sharing activity was held to mark the meaning of the 60th anniversary.

A total of 60 employees took part in the volunteer program, preparing 600 snack packages for children from low-income families. An in-house blood donation drive was also organized, offering employees a chance to put the company’s social responsibility into action. The ceremony served not only as a moment to look back on the past 60 years, but also as a starting point for the company’s next journey toward greater growth.
