Unfolding New Global Business Opportunities at Wire & Tube 2026

From April 13 to 17, SeAH participated in Wire & Tube 2026 held in Düsseldorf, Germany, the world’s largest exhibition for the steel industry. Four affiliates, including SeAH Steel, SeAH CSS, Inox Tech, and CTC, joined hands to present integrated solutions that showcased SeAH’s technological expertise and comprehensive value chain. At the exhibition, SeAH Steel introduced carbon steel and stainless steel pipes, as well as specialized pipes for carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) applications. It successfully demonstrated technologies that support a broad range of energy industries. Inox Tech highlighted its expertise in high-value-added materials through clad and nickel alloy products, while SeAH CSS showcased its competitiveness in premium materials with stainless seamless pipes. CTC presented its precision processing and machining capabilities through its stick tube products.

In particular, this year’s booth was designed around the theme “Flexible Strength.” The booth visually represented SeAH’s adaptability and responsiveness through changing patterns of light and shadow. A translucent fabric structure symbolized the connection to future industries, while the overall lighting design reflected SeAH’s continuous growth and scalability, which drew strong interest from visitors. Throughout the exhibition, SeAH’s booth attracted many visitors and provided a valuable opportunity to communicate SeAH’s technologies and future vision.

Showcasing Competitiveness in Next-Generation Energy Markets at INEX 2026

Meanwhile, SeAH CSS participated in INEX 2026, held from April 22 to 24. At the exhibition, the company introduced its materials technologies and business capabilities across the nuclear value chain. Held under the theme “Nuclear Energy for an AI-Powered World,” the exhibition explored the role of nuclear energy and future technologies. It addressed growing electricity demand driven by AI and data centers, as well as rising concerns over energy security. SeAH CSS presented its core materials technologies covering the entire nuclear value chain, from large-scale nuclear power plants to small modular reactors (SMRs).

Backed by Korea Electric Power Industry Code (KEPIC) certification, the company has supplied key materials to nuclear component manufacturers both in Korea and abroad. At the exhibition, SeAH CSS highlighted stainless seamless pipes used in Shin-Hanul Units 3 and 4 and Shin-Kori Units 5 and 6. It also introduced ultra-clean precision casting materials for reactor internals, showcasing the reliability of its technologies. In addition, the company displayed a wide range of products used across power generation facilities. These included piping materials and rolled flat bars for turbine generators. Through these exhibits, SeAH CSS demonstrated its ability to supply materials for the nuclear supply chain. A model of the blanket shield block for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) was also displayed. The stainless steel tubes supplied by SeAH CSS for conductor jackets maintain excellent strength and ductility even at cryogenic temperatures as low as minus 269 degrees Celsius. These tubes were successfully delivered to the ITER project in 2010.

Building on this achievement, the company has continued to participate in the ITER project. It has developed rolled flat bars for fusion diagnostics equipment, as well as stainless steel materials for high-magnetic-field and cryogenic environments. Through these efforts, SeAH CSS has strengthened its broad technological capabilities for next-generation energy applications. The company also introduced materials solutions for power infrastructure applications, including transmission systems. It displayed high-strength round bars and rolled flat bars for turbine blades and heat-resistant bolts. INVAR materials featuring thermal expansion rates reduced to approximately 10% of conventional materials were also presented. These solutions contribute to lower power losses and improved transmission efficiency.

Through these two exhibitions, SeAH demonstrated both its technological capabilities and strategic direction in responding to changes in global markets and the future energy industry. Going forward, SeAH will continue to strengthen its competitiveness across a wide range of industries by leveraging its accumulated expertise and integrated value chain.
