Taking huge strides toward becoming a global steel manufacturing brand

SeAH has recently marked its 60th anniversary. Over the past few years, we have focused heavily on finding a path to sustainable growth. Internally, we have undergone continuous change and brought forth innovations that have advanced our high-value added production capabilities and world-class competitiveness, in line with the inflow of introduced changes. Externally, we are continuing to expand the scope of new opportunities and possibilities by actively making inroads into world markets.

Laying foundations on a cornerstone

SeAH’s story started with Pusan Steel Pipe Industrial in 1960. President Lee Jong-deok, a pioneer in Korea's steel industry, envisioned his company to become a cornerstone that would anchor Korea’s industrial development and would in time expand its presence into global markets beyond Asia. He engraved his vision in the company name with the unrelenting resolve to never forget it.
